Hidden behind the veil of sanity in an insane world resides the asylum of the Remnant Grid's madness. Sealed away by a brotherhood of Summoners, the Labyrinth has remained elusive from all those who seek it, except for a single key that is passed through the crevasses of the dimensions. This beacon of madness transcends time and reality - sent to a Receiver who may view this gift as either a blessing or one unfortunate event. With this key, the Receiver creates their own puncture into the sealed chambers where they are faced by the elaborately created Labyrinth made by the God Veivos himself. Spiraling, twisting, and seemingly set in shades of gray, the Labyrinth serves as the endless prison for the beast of void that has spent its days since the dawn of time lurking for the promised exit in hopes of being able to roam freely and cause mass hysteria once more. Underneath the cover of reality resides this asylum of terror and madness, the home of the fiend that those seek either to free or to destroy.
A chamber of insanity, tainting those that enter, and forevermore locking away the hearts of the sane.
Geography[]
The Labyrinth - The elaborate maze that serves as a penitentiary and defense against the lurking beast of void. The labyrinth extends in every direction, creating an infinite loop that leads to neither an end nor an exit. High walls of gray stone reach to the cavern roof, and thick layers of moss growing out of the cracks of the stone. Across higher levels of the walls are bridges created by roots, connecting halls and passages inside of the walls with others, forming an elaborate multi-level maze.

The Forerunners - The ghastly lurkers who circle through the Labyrinth, purging the area of those who manage to slip past the seal via the Achromatic Key. Years of mutation, these once human beings now roam as pseudo-bug like wraiths, placing a malicious poison against all of those they come in contact with. These wraiths of the Labyrinth make rounds, keeping tight watch over those who seek the fiend.
